My 6 month old Versa 2 has never received my text notifications.

I’ve had my Versa 2 since summer 2020 and I really enjoy it, but I’ve never been able to receive text message notifications through the watch. I get notifications from other apps like Snapchat and my email, but my text messages never show up. I have the Fitbit settings set to show text notifications, but that doesn’t seem to matter. I’ve read through some of the other forums on this issue and tried to troubleshoot based on some of the advice there, but it hasn’t fixed the issue. This is the only issue I have with this watch and any advice is welcome.
