I Am also having the same issue. It has many times said that the earphones can not be found and only once found them but then came up with a Red Cross saying that the connection failed. I haven’t since been able to connect them both. What Can I try?

Hey @Charleymae, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! What Bluetooth earburds are you trying to use with your Versa? In the meantime, let me suggest you to try the following:

- Restart your Versa

- Try to re-pair your earbuds

Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

Any further suggestions?

I have just swapped to FBVersa from apple watch and I am unable to connect by Beats X bluetooth headphones to my Versa.  I have tried all the steps that are in the forum, even the factory reset and it still won't detect my headphones.  The headphones will connect to my phone etc but the Versa will not detect them at all.

I would appreciate any other suggestions.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Another issue!!!!  My Versa is connected to my phone (iphone) and is syncing BUT I have not been receiving any sms notifications.  When I review the app to set up notifications it then states "Bluetooth pairing required" your versa and your iphone need to be paired before you cdan use this feature.  I then click on setup and NOTHING HAPPENS..............Talk about a frustrating gadet!!!!!!!!

I am also having this issue. My bluetooth headphones connect to everything but my versa. It's extremely frustrating!

@Maree73you also may need to reset your Beats X earphones! See instruction manual on how to do it!

Everyone else: make sure that when you turn on your earphones they do not auto-connect to your mobile!

Hey guys! I hope you are doin' fine. I do apologize for the delay in answering your posts.

@Maree73, if your Versa is not getting text notifications, and you still getting the error message that you previously mentioned, I suggest you to reboot the Bluetooth on your phone and then make sure that your Versa is actually pair with the Bluetooth on your phone. Now about the headphones, try the tips that @lenny4d posted. The same to you @ariannejl and @EmmaBrooke, please try to reset your headphones and then make sure to pair them with your Versa.

Let me know how it goes guys!

@Hcurtis2016-- when you try to pair your headphones to a mobile, does it work right away without having to do anything, or do you have to enter a pin code? Do your headphone say something like "enter 1234" when trying to pair, or does the manual give a default pin code (usually something like 0000). It sounds to me that the headphones want the other device to confirm a pin code and since there is no way to enter one on the Versa nothing happens.... 😞    If that seems indeed the case, then there is no help. The Versa requires so-called "justworks" pairing (without pin), and there is no way to tell beforehand if that is what your headphones support. It's a pain.

Hey guys, @miastrick@Hcurtis2016 and @lenny4d, I hope you are doin' fine!

I really appreciate the time you have taken to try to connect your headphones with your Versa. Please note that our team is already aware of these inconveniences, I mean some third-party headphones just don't connect with the Versa or they are giving issues when trying to connect but our team is working towards a solution so please be patient.

If you have further questions or comments, let me know!

@HeydyF  " I mean some third-party headphones just don't connect with the Versa or they are giving issues when trying to connect"  --- The Versa/Ionic SHOULD support pairing with headphones that need a PIN, and not only 'justworks' pairing.

Thanks for replying @lenny4d. 🙂 I understand your point. But it doesn't matter if the headphones need or not the PIN code to complete the set up, if they are third-party, the users might experience issues such a static, loose connection or troubles to connect them with the Versa/Ionic. Our team is investigating this, so I will appreciate your patience and understanding.
