My Dog Timmy clockface

Anyone use the My Dog Timmy (or any other pet one) as their watch face on the Versa (or Iconic)?  How does it work?   I just got my Versa on Tuesday, so it's only been a couple days... when I walk, does it automatically create "treats" on the bottom right - and I just have to feed it 8x in a day for it not to go away?  I think it went away the first day I had it - there was a letter in the doghouse and no dog until I was able to get enough steps to feed it.

Can you play with the animal or is it just step-related?

Anyone else use any other watch faces that are more interactive?  There are SO many to choose from!

@Honulii,

I can only speculate that it behaves the way it does on the Ionic.

You get:

  • One treat for 10% of your steps; 100% of your steps = 10 treats.
  • 1/2 heart for each treat.
  • If you get the ransom note, you'll need to get 5 treats (2.5 hearts) to get Timmy back.
  • If you get (I believe) 4 hearts (8 treats or 80% of your step goal), Timmy will stay put tomorrow (no ransom note).
  • You need to dispense the treats (tap on the lower right part of screen) in order for them to count.

Other than feeding Timmy or him walking while you walk, I don't know of any other way to play with him... which may be a good thing since otherwise I'd wear down the battery.

I hope this helps.

@PureEvil  Thanks!!  It would be nice if I could play with the pet, but yes, I'd probably be so distracted by it and have no battery by the end of the day.  Thanks so much!

I have weird clear colored boxes at the top now. I can press them but no clue what they do!

That happened to me too on a couple occasions and they just kind of disappear at some point.  The last time it happened was a couple days ago and when I pushed one of the empty squares, the hearts on the bottom reset!  This happened late at night, so when I woke up the next morning, I had the ransom note 😞

I have another question. I really like it but I can't stand that its in 12 hour clock only. I changed my settings on the website but still its the same. Had anyone had any luck getting Timmy to tell the time in 24hr format ?

Be careful, I was pressing them and one of them reset all my progress for the day to zero and my dog left me as it was evening already.
