My Fitbit stopped working after I went swimming

My Fitbit Versa stopped working after I went swimming. It was working when I went swimming and still worked for about an hour after I went swimming, but then it began to get warm and then about 30 minutes to an hour after that it stopped working completely. I don't know what to do. I'm confused as to why it isn't working when the Versa is supposed to work in water and I've gotten it wet before. I charged it the day before I went swimming as well. So I'm at a loss as to why it isn't working. I only bought it seven months ago and I don't have the money to be able to buy a new one. So help anyone??

If restarting doesn't not help, I would contact support. You are still under warranty.
