If you mean the "auto-recognize" function that applies to "walks", "runs", "Aerobic Workout" and such and creates exercise records...

On the iOS app (should be similar on the Android app)...'

  • Tap your account icon at the top left of the Today screen
  • Scroll down and tap "Activity & Wellness"
  • Tap "Exercise"
  • Select the activity you want to have auto recognized.
  • If the activity name is greyed out, then it is not active
  • Tap on the activity you want to edit.
  • If the "Auto-recognize" slide-button is not green tap on it.
  • Tap on the "xxxxx Longer Than" tile and edit the value to the number of minutes you want.
  • It you want to edit other "auto-recognized" activities tap the "Exercise" link at the top left or swipe right on the screen.
  • When you are finished, tap on the "Today" screen icon at the lower left of the screen.

Hope this helps and welcome to the boards.
