Happy New Year! Recently, my normal walking route has increased by about .30 miles from a few months ago. I noticed this because my average pace was really dropping, but my elapsed time is approximately the same. The total distance was showing about a .20 mile increase a few weeks ago, but has now increased to about .30. The total distance for this particular route is around 3.5 miles so this is about a 10% variance.
I drove my car along my walking route and the car odometer was about the same as the walking distance my Fitbit displayed from a few months ago. I started using an iPhone X in early December after upgrading from an iPhone 6+ .
Love my Fitbit and just curious to what may be causing this. Continental drift maybe?

@DKJAX Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with the distance increase on your activities. Not sure why this is happening but you can try to manually enter your stride length to improve the distance calculation on your device.
Let me know how it goes.
