I bought a Versa 2 to help me manage my energy levels as I have a chronic illness, but now I'm wondering if any of the measurements are at all accurate! I comfortably hit 5000 steps a day despite rarely leaving the house and resting on the couch most of the day. It does not accurately measure how many times I go up and down stairs. I've read that the HRV stats are way lower than they actually are! What's the point of this Versa 2 other than it being a pretty thing?! 😕 I'm disappointed and feel like I'm stuck with it. Anybody else have the same experience and have any tips please??

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JoolzB.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the information provided.
In this case, I would recommend visiting this article, open the menu "What can I do if my step count seems inaccurate?" and follow the instructions.
Your Watch uses both an accelerometer and altimeter to track floors, and registers a floor when detecting continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of about 10 feet. Because the device looks for continuous motion, pausing when you go up a flight of stairs can cause the device to not count the floor. Fitbit devices count floors only when going up stairs.
Your device may count less floors than you think it should for a variety of reasons. Not all flights are the same height or distance, so if the flight you climbed is less than 10 feet you may find that the device's floor count doesn't exactly match how many floors you climbed. Exposure to excess moisture can also cause result in fewer floors. If you haven't done so, please restart your Versa 2 by following these steps.
For information about how accurate are Heart-Rate Variability (HRV) stats, please visit this article.
Have a nice day.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my post, it's much appreciated. I think I must wave my arms around a lot! This accounts for the high step count 😕 you have solved the mystery of the floors though! Our flight of stairs is definitely more than 10' but I nearly always need to pause and rest half way up, so it won't be counting that particular 10' rise. Once again thank you for responding to my post. Take care! 🙂
