My Versa 2 doesn't turn on

Looking for some help/advice.

 

Yesterday it appeared that my 14 month old Versa 2 battery had fully discharged, so I put it on charge overnight. This morning, it was still dead, and repeated attempts to charge (using 2 different charger cradles), still shows no activity.

 

I've tried cleaning the contacts as recommended. I've tried a hard reset (holding the back button for 10 seconds), Result is no result. It's just dead. 

 

I noted just now that when I push on the crystal, a very small amount of water appears at the bezel edge, so I fear water has infiltrated the case. I've only ever warn my watch into the shower once or twice, just to be safe, even though it is rated for 50 meters.

 

I'm guessing since the watch is 14 months old that there is no recourse with FITBIT. Any suggestions are appreciated.
