My Versa 2 is holding a charge again

Just wondering if everyone else whose Versa suddenly started draining the battery in a few hours has noticed it is working again now? Like many others mine started to drain in about 10 hours at the end of last week. I spotted a tip saying to turn the phones Bluetooth off and that stopped the draining. Today I forgot to turn Bluetooth off after syncing and 3 hours later I’ve still got a full charge. There must have been a software fix somewhere

Can I ask exactly what you did?  We have been discussing this issue in another thread, and all of us on that thread would love to resolve this matter.  Previously,  I turned Bluetooth off and that is the only way that I am able to retain a charge.  When I saw your post, I made sure that I had the latest firmware upgrade, and I also went to the Apple App Store and made sure that the app was up to date.  Everything was good to go, so I turned Bluetooth on, and for me, nothing has changed.  My battery continues to drain very quickly.  Any advice you can give me would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Which thread are the folks discussing this in (ie what has and has not been tried)?

There are several threads out there about this issue, but the one that I have been commenting on is the thread started by gingernutcookie called versa battery draining quickly. The main solution on this thread has been to disable your Bluetooth connection and then manually sync your Fitbit. Another solution was to change your clock face. I'm not sure, but I have the impression that quite a few of us are using the SpO2 face. This worked for me, but I don't think that this is a viable solution on a long-term basis. Personally, I resent having to jerry-rig my Fitbit for a problem that Fitbit created. It is also interesting that the Moderators are saying absolutely nothing about this issue. The only comment that I have seen is the one made in this thread (that they were glad everything was working for this person). Good luck, I think that we are all going to need it.
