I need to enter a code onto my phone app that's suppose to show up on my watch in order to add device. But I can't because my phone needs to unlock my watch in order for that to work. I've tried the factory reset. I've tried talking to fitbit through Facebook messenger, and nothing is working. My fitbit went unworn for a few months and is practically brand new.

Thank you for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.
If the Fitbit Versa 2 gets locked, you can enter a personal 4-digit PIN code to unlock it. If you enter the wrong PIN code 10 times, you're prompted to unlock with your paired phone as explained in this article.
When setting up Fitbit Pay a bond is created between your phone and your watch. If the watch is locked and unpaired from your Fitbit account there is no other option to unlock it.
