My versa 2 was connected to my phone for weeks but has suddenly stopped connecting. Ive tried everything like restarting my phone, restarting ther versa, and reinstalling that app. When i try and connect it using bluetooth it says that it cannot connect because i need the app for it. I have the app.

I'm having the same issue with my Versa lite. I've tried everything I have seen suggested on the subject and sometimes it will connect and sync only to stop. The time is majorly off as well. My phone (Android) isn't even seeing the Fitbit when I search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Beyond frustrated!

Same exact thing here. Mine has been working for months and suddenly started having errors while reading heart rate and stopped syncing with my phone saying "i need an app for the device." The last sync was on Jan 5th and it is Jan 21. I too tried all the troubleshooting mentioned above with no success.

It seems like a general issue.
Have you contacted Fitbit Support directly to inform them of the problem. They may be able to help you.
