Can anyone explain why switching from a Versa to a Versa 2 tracker would produce wildly different data on the same exercise? I am a creature of habit, and walk or walk/run the same path, multiple times a week. It is 4.1 miles. Under the Versa it registered a calorie burn of 450 calories for the walk/run, and 373 calories for the walk. This was consistent for the entire year, and it takes me the same amount of time give or take a minute. Since I have the Versa 2, I register 298 calories on the walk/run and only 262 calories on the walk. This is a 10 to 30 percent difference! I am so confused as to why the tracker would make the difference, since it reads my resting heart rate, fat burn, cardio and peak the same as before. Does anyone have any insight? I'm beginning to think that this Fitbit stuff is just guesswork. 😞
