How do I get my Versa 2 to notify me of phone or text messages?

No. I did not get an answer. I still am not able to get notices on my Fitbit Versa 2. Can you help me?

I reset the app and I still am having trouble.

I sometimes am notified of email, or phone call but not text message and when I click on open it deletes all emails etc. and gives the message "nothing new here", "all caught up".

What good is it if the app only half works. Instead of opening the messages it deletes them. 😔 it is so disheartening. Can you help?

If after following the instructions shared above you continue having difficulties with your notifications, I would recommend setting up your Fitbit Versa 2 as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1626902163916.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Nope...didn't work.  I've done every single thing to troubleshoot.  I get phone calls and app alerts on my Versa 2, but no texts.  I have an iPhone 12 pro max (updated IOS), but I am beyond frustrated.  I've contacted Fitbit and they created a claim report, but so what???
