My Versa 2 thinks I am running but I am walking.

My  new Versa 2 automatically thinks I am running but I am walking.  How can I get it to know I am walking when I get started. Why can’t I just have it go automatically to walking instead of running?  I can correct this on my phone with my Fitbit app after it syncs.  But I should need to do this.  My Charge 3 used to go right to walking.

If you haven't done it already, please restart your Fitbit Versa 2 by following these steps.

 

You can also change the Auto-Exercise Recognition time, sync, go back to your original setting and sync.
