So my Versa 3 I lately realised does not track floors climbed if I’m running. But it does if I walk. This is frankly disappointing because I did expect more out of this device. I rely on Fitbit for accuracy.
I’ve tried this a couple of times and it does not track or account for floors if I’m running upward.

Hi Niel,

Thank you so much for replying!
Will definitely give that a try!
I generally do move my arms a lot while running or walking but it’s possible while running up a flight of stairs movements are restricted.
Also I hope you enjoy your new Versa!

Floors are calculated when walking up steps and requires a change in altitude of 10 feet over a very short period of time.
While running, or walking, one should not expect a floor count. Wind over the arm causing a change in air pressure would be the source of any floors counted.
This is related to the dirt on back of trucks.
