So I charged my Versa watch and everything was working well and all of a sudden it doesn’t want to come on and work and the battery has been fully charge. Can you guys give me some options

Hello @Rose8mark

Try restarting your Versa to see if that resolves the issue. Just press in and hold down the button on the Versa until you see a smiley face the release the button. You should feel the Versa vibrate letting you know that your Versa has completed its restart.

😉 I’m hoping that gets your screen back up and running again. Please let me know how it goes

I tried this 4 times and it never worked. I’m not sure if the battery is depleted but when I plug in the watch to charge that’s the only time it actually turns on. There’s also a fully charged battery icon that is hovering over the top left corner of my Fitbit watch and it keep blinking.

Note that this watch is fully charged but it just refuses to turn on unless I plug it in to charge.

Hello again @Rose8mark

It’s hard to tell (even as you stated) that it’s difficult to know for certain if the battery is depleted or not. Look closely at the pins on the charger. Do they look bent in any way? It’s important for the Versa to have a good contact with the charger to ensure proper charging. Dust and debris can accumulate over time.

Try cleaning your charger and the back of your Versa following the instructions here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2005.htm. After cleaning plug your Versa back into its charger for about an hour to see if poor contact with the charger was the issue.

Hello - Sad to say that I have tried this twice. Once this morning and then again before I responded here. Also my battery only lasts 2 days. I don’t know if this is normal but I even changed the lighting to dim just so that I could save more battery life.

Hello again @Rose8mark

My only other suggestion would be to try and change the clock face going through the Fitbit app. This has helped people with screen issues before. Look here to see how: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm

If that doesn’t help then I think it would be best to contact Fitbit Customer Service. You can find ways to contact them here: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US. I think calling them directly or live chat is the best way of communicating with them.

😉 Let me know if changing the click face helps.

Ok today I tried to do this and now the watch refuses to turn on. I plugged it in to charge and  it just stays off so I’m unable to do anything apart from going in and out of the app in my phone.

more than likely the watch itself would have to be resolved and unfortunately this is actually my 2nd  replacement. So the issues seem to be a very consistent thing with Fitbit versa.

Even the website for Fitbit has glitches. It’s frustrating deal with this watch, app and the service on a whole. No info listed.

Hello again @Rose8mark

Try restarting your phone then try the Fitbit Customer Service link. I just tried it on both my iOS iPad and my Android phone and it popped right up. Yours might just need a quick restart refreshing. Just in case something happens the telephone number at Fitbit Customer Service is: 877-623-4997
