Did you mean:

My Versa didn’t log my first night of sleep

Before someone tells me to go ahead and turn on the sleep analysis thing (that’s already been done before I even went to sleep). The settings are fine. I have since rebooted the Versa itself.

This is more a question about if anyone has ever experienced being a super deep sleeper or just being a weird sleeper and having the app not recognize your sleep? I have also switched the thing from normal to sensitive.  I have a feeling I am a very deep sleeper, and that might be messing up the thing.

1.  There is no "sleep analysis thing" to turn on.  If you mean the "Begin Sleep Now" button, that is just for trackers without heart rate sensors.

2. Did it not log sleep at all, or do you mean just not the sleep stages analysis?

3.  Is the the first night you have worn it?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks! I meant the sleep analysis mode. Whatever that is called under
the ‘sleep’ settings.

analysis?

It did not do the sleep stage analysis, which I really wanted to see. I’m
a crazy deep sleeper (or so I think) and I was wondering about it.

3. Is the the first night you have worn it?

Yes, first night.

Normal/sensitive setting is irrelevant with heart rate trackers.  That was just for before heart rate, when fitbit just had to rely on movement to figure out if asleep.

I can't imagine being a deep sleeper would be a problem.

Some nights I just don't get sleep stages, just the asleep, awake, and restless, without knowing why.

Also it can take take a while for the sleep info to update.

From What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

"There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern."

I had it on sensitive and it said I slept 43 mins. I know I slept from
around 10:30 pm to about 6:15 am this morning. Oh well.--
