My Versa died after 13 months. Finally getting a refund!

I bought my Versa in the UK (Argos) after 13 months and without any warning it died. As it's covered by a 2 year warranty I was promised a replacement would be shipped... 3 weeks later still no Fitbit and it still hasn't been shipped. Fitbit are blaming 'one of their partners' but a customer service advisor confessed they don't have enough stock to keep up with on-line sales and warranty returns (which looking at this site and Trust Pilot there are lots!). I've eventually got them to agree to a refund which I thought would be a simple transaction. But no, this is Fitbit so it has to be a long frustrating and convoluted process without the customer in mind. It will apparently take the upto 3 weeks to eventually process and finalise this refund!!!. A customer service advisor said to me today customers need to respect the Fitbit policies and processes. It really is laughable when they show very little concern and respect to their customers. I would recommend anyone in my situation to opt for a refund. For Fitbit warranty returns they are sending out refurbished Fibits. The warranty on that Fitbit only covers you for the remaining warranty on your original Fitbit purchase. Therefore you have a previously broken Fitbit that's been refurbished and likely to break again with less warranty. At least with a refund you can buy a new Fitbit with a full warranty or in my case it will be an Apple Watch. Fitbit is far too unreliable and the customer service is appalling. Current Fitbit Trust Pilot ratings are at an all time low of 1.5/10. It would be hard to believe this company will still be operational in a few years!

My Versa battery never lasted longer than a day and I purchased at end of April this year.

After chasing support they agreed a replacement and like with yourself they had issues with getting a replacement to me. After a couple weeks it finally turned up and so far has been holding charge a lot longer.

3 days before it arrived my faulty one actually totally packed in and wouldnt turn on or charge.

This is my second Fitbit device, I had the Blaze before and that had horrific GPS issues, which Fitbit never admitted fault and said it was trees, buildings and clouds causing issues...what a load of rubbish as it works on my phone with Strava...

Won't buy a Fitbit again.
