My Versa has a terrible battery.

I charged my Fitbit Versa to 100%, then a few hours later proceeded to go to bed. When I woke up, the battery was at 50%. Waking up, the battery drained to 16% several hours later. Why does the battery drain this fast?

Same after the update. Already sold and replaced with an amazfit bip. At 85% battery after an entire week with it

Do you have the auto wake function on? In other words, does your screen turn on when you turn your wrist? If so, turn it off. It'll reduce the battery dramatically having this feature on. Use only the left button, or the double tap to turn the screen on. You'll extend the battery.

Me too. Was working great then about a week ago the battery the battery life plummeted. Lucky if it makes 14 hours now.  Have followed all instructions they've sent so far but still no satisfactory response.  Have started researching alternatives.

I have a Fitbit One which I was keeping in my pocket to compare steps with my new Versa.  I noticed that when I was at home, the battery on my Versa was dropping like a stone.  After about 6 hours, battery was down to 37%. After looking for help here, I figured I had a bad battery.  But, when I left the house, the battery was holding very well, and dropped only a couple of percent over a 5 hour period.  When I returned home,  I unplugged the dongle for the Fitbit One, and my Versa stopped draining so fast.  I'm 36 hours out, and have 68% battery left (after a full recharge).  I am using the Nothing Special clockface, which is stats rich.  I have All-day Sync turned off.  I do not have Auto On.  So - check to see if your Versa is trying to communicate with some other Fitbit.
