I've just given my versa charger a good shake and there are no rattles so it doesn't sound right. Is it charging ok?

Hey @Boamba! Welcome aboard! Hmm sounds odd that the charging cable of your Versa makes a weird sound when you charge your watch. Just like my friend @SteveH previously asked you, have you made sure that it is plugged as below?

  1. Plug the charging cradle into the USB port on your computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger
  2. Pinch the other end of the charging cradle and place Versa in the cradle. The pins on the charging cradle must align with the gold contacts on the back of the watch. The connection is secure when the percent charged appears on screen.

If so, try to restart it by following the instructions in this post. If the issue persists, let me know. 😉

My charger chamber rattles when you move it

Not the watch the charger

Hey @Horwate, I hope you are doin' great! It is normal that your Versa (like any other Fitbit device) vibrates when you correctly plug it into the charging cable. That means that it is well plugged in. So I'd like you to verify that your Versa is properly connected into the charging cable. If so but still vibrating, let me know.

I'll be around!

It's not a vibrate.
The charging unit itself rattles when you move it

Hi, I have the exact same problem, my versa charger rattles when you move it (or shake it). It works for now but I am worried it might fail at some point, something must be loose/broken in it. Is there something we can do?

Thank you

Hey @sjamesg, welcome to the Community! Let me ask you this, have you restarted your Versa to try to fix this? If you haven't, please follow these instructions:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Versa doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

If that doesn't work, let me know!

My charger does the exact same. The issue is not with the actual watch, it is with the charger unit. When you move the charger unit there is a rattling noise as if a screw is loose inside and is hitting against the plastic outer case of the charger

Hello, it has nothing to do with the watch itself, just the charger. It rattles when you shake it (the charger without the watch). Something is probably broken inside the charger.

Thank you

It is sad when even the moderators fail to read the OP's message.

Hey @Deathwishvixen, it is great to see new faces around! Is the weird noise coming from the Versa itself when you charge it or from the charging cable? In the meantime, please try to restart it by following these instructions:

It's the actual charger itself.nothing wrong with the fitbit itself . The charger rattles like a baby rattle even with the fitbit not in it

There's nothing wrong with my Fitbit , it runs perfect. It's just the charger that rattles
