My Versa is not recording my HR and active minutes properly

So I got this watch just over a year ago (maybe close to a year and a half), and it's worked wonderfully up until this week.  I went to the gym two days ago, spent 30 minutes on the treadmill alternating between running/walking flat/walking incline; then went on to do about 20 minutes of abs.

I think it's when I was switching from "treadmill" to "workout" that I noticed my active minutes were only 3....even though I had it tracking for the whole 30 minutes.  I think "ok whatever...it counted steps & cals".  Look at it later and my active minutes are down to zero.

Yesterday, back at the gym - have it on the "weight" setting for a good 35 minutes, then another 15 on "workout", low and behold - zero active minutes!  Which is when I realized that my heart rate had been at 102 for awhile that day, not alternating, not coming down when we were stretching.  So I look in the app and my entire day prior was at 102.

Followed a reset on one of these forums and now my heart rate just says "null".  The green sensor light isn't doing anything on the back.  Who knows what it'll do with a workout tonight.

Oh, and I haven't had a sleep score since Friday.  It's Wednesday.

Anyone else experiencing this?  Tips/tricks on how to fix it?  Would hate to have to shell out money for something new.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @s.law.

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not registering your information correctly. Thank you for trying to resolve the issue before contacting us.

I would like to clarify that in order to get sleep stages and sleep score, it is necessary getting heart rate readings. Please go to your watch to Settings > Heart rate, if it's On, please turn it off and back on.

If this doesn't help, you can perform a factory reset by following the next steps, but keep in mind that apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards and saved settings will be deleted from your watch:

On your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data.

If you have any question, please don't hesitate to contact us back at any time.
