My Versa is not syncing with my Samsung j3

My husband has a Samsung j3 and he bought a versa watch. The watch was working fine with the phone now the phone can’t find the watch and it is not syncing. It keeps telling me it is scheduled to start soon. My phone syncs all the time

It appears the Samsung J3 is not on the Fitbit list of Approved Devices.

Galaxy J is on the approved list.  That's for all J models.

I had the J3 Luna Pro and it worked on mine.  Try force closing the app, restarting the Bluetooth and Versa, unpair and reconnect the Versa with the phone, and restarting the phone.
