My Versa is not tracking the miles correctly

Help! My Versa is not tracking the miles correctly. I just went for a walk with my Fiance and his Ionic showed his mileage was 4.5 miles my Versa showed 3.50 miles My steps were 3800.

Twice I have gone on a walk or hike and the app is off a mile under what the actual mileage.

My Versa's mileage is suddenly WAY off. 

Yesterday, I walked 15.6K, which should have been 7-7.5 miles, but my Versa tracked 3 miles. 

This morning, I walked what I know is a 1.5-mile walk, and my Fitbit tracked 0.2 miles. 

I tried a hard reset already.

Remove Bluetooth connection. Restart phone and hard reset & reconnect Bluetooth.   That worked for me. Validate your pace setting.

I have reset my watch phone and app

went for my 2 mile walk this morning it only recorded .57 miles

This answer makes no sense at all.  Why would any calculation be needed to determine how far you run or walk.  A mile is always a mile - 5,280 feet.  Whether I am tall or short doesn't change this - nor does my stride length multiplied by steps.  If the watch is using GPS - then how can it not just calculate distance traveled?  This is basically fourth or fifth grade science.  Your design engineers get an F+ for this design.

Every runner out there wants an accurate measure of their runs.  This is an epic fail.

I had the Fitbit and my hiking app both connected to GPS; Fitbit tracked 2.7 miles and app tracked 3.5. I have done numerous comparisons with friends and family who have various tracking devices and my Fitbit is always way off…Disappointing

Me too versa 4.  I feel like it does better tracking up through the phone
