My Versa is recording almost 3 times the amount of steps I actually take

For some reason my Versa is recording a stupidly high number of steps and floors climbed. I have tried resetting it and I have also tested walking a set pace, and counting myself how many steps I take and how many the fitbit thinks I have taken. On average it is 60+ steps out. And then yesterday it claimed I have climbed 77 floors... I live in a bungalow 😲

I have to say when I first got my Versa (April last year) it was brilliant, but now I don't see the point of wearing it. Someone please let me know what I can do to sort this out!!

Hi @Elsmitch,  welcome to the Fitbit Community forums. Sorry for the late response.

Thank you for all the details that you've provided about the accuracy of your data and for confirming that you already tried several troubleshooting steps to try to resolve this.

I've sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but was informed that you already have a case created or that you already got in touch with them.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
