I have tried On a number of occasions to update my versa to the new update but it is taking so long, why is that?

Hi @monstermunch4, welcome to the community.
It sounds as though you might be trying to perform the update over Bluetooth. I would recommend making sure you have WiFi set up on your Versa and you have a network set up that it can connect to. The key is to place your Versa into its charger and connect it to a power source, this will force it to connect to your WiFi network. Then try initiating the update again to see if it progresses faster this time.
