So lately my versa has started occasionally tracking some car rides as outdoor bike. Only thing I can think of is the vibration of the wheel is confusing it. But it’s giving me a calorie burn during that time that I know can’t be right as I’m sitting in a car, so is it overriding the HR information it’s tracking?

Hi, are you the driver of the car? If yes, then indeed the HR may vary depending on certain situations an thus leading to calorie usage. I have the same when riding my motor bike. Is sees it also as Outdoor biking and when my HR goes up in a dangerous situation, it increases my calorie usage. It even can get funnier with the Versa (and also the Ionic before that): it sees my showering also as an Outdoor bike run![]()

What happens when the rogue bike ride is deleted? Fitbit should be looking at the best rate for calorie calculations.

Nothing changes, it still the same. As already described, my Versa sees my "morning ritual" also as Outdoor Biking ![]()

Yes, I’m the driver of the car. I deleted them but my overall calories for the day stayed oddly high for the day. Even though looking at the HR graph it didn’t look out of the ordinary.
