My Versa isn't receiving text notifications

My texts aren't coming through on Galaxy 6S Edge Plus phone. Tried different things and still not working. All other notifications are working fine. Any suggestions?

Check that your phone settings for you messaging app are correct - show notifications, and on your phone lock screen notifications are set to show and not hide.

I receive all other notifications except text messages  How do I fix it? I've tried everything

I was having the same problem and after troubleshooting every possible way
that I could, I contacted the support at Fitbit and they told me it was
there was a developer problem with the particular app that I was using for
text messaging (Verizon message+). I switched to apps and it's resolved the
problem for now, but a bit of an annoying solution.

Ever since I updated my versa mine won t get text messages too. I'm going to call the company and get a refund! This is bull.

Mine also stopped receiving text notifications after the update but then I just realized that I am not receiving text notifications on my phone as well. My phone will sound but there wont be the icon on top, not sure how this happened, maybe recent phone update . So I went to settings, then apps, then messages and saw the notification blocked. I switched it to allowed and it is working now, i can get text notifications on versa now

I just called fitbit and they said they are having problems with the message+ and are working on it. You should be able to get all of the other notification ok on your phone.

Mine is doing the same thing. I miss being able to use Messaging+. Hopefully Fitbit fixes it REALLY soon!!!!!!

read a bunch of Fitbit suggestions and dared to try the factory reset.... I DON'T RECOMMEND it...... after several frustrating hours wasted and hiccups every step of the way I finally got my watch back to 'normal' but the texts still aren't working 😞  all that for nothing..... wish I had never done that last update..... ( I also use message+)  guess I'll try a different messaging app and see.... what happens...

Is there anyway we can be notified when this is going to be fixed so we don't have to come to the boards everyday looking?

 

Also for those that switched from Message+ to another app, what app are you using now? Do you like it? Will you switch back to message+ once this bug is fixed?

I use the texting app that comes with my Samsung - message. And no.. not my favorite and I WILL be switching back to Verizon Messaging+ as soon as it's fixed.

Just got my Versa yesterday, and all notifications work except Message+.  I'm glad it's not just me. Will be checking back for updates. Thanks!
