My Versa isn't receiving text notifications

My texts aren't coming through on Galaxy 6S Edge Plus phone. Tried different things and still not working. All other notifications are working fine. Any suggestions?

Nope and I set it to message again and don't get messages from that either. Very disappointed with the watch.

After setting all the permissions and defaults to Verizon + I had to restart my phone and watch. After that, it seemed to work. Make sure you have the updated version.

Hey guys, hope you are doing fine.

It's great to hear that for some of you this issue has been resolved and are able to receive your notifications. For the ones that keep having this problem, keep in mind that this was fixed with the Fitbit app version 2.73. If you don't have your app updated, follow the instructions in this post.

This problem appears to have comeback with the 2.75 version of the app.  Since upgrading to the Versa, I can not get messages from my Message+ app.  I have confirmed all the setting all other notifications are working.  Suggestions?

I got an update today that is 2.76.1 and my messages from Verizon Messaging
+ are coming thru my versa just fine. Might was to see if u can update the
app again.

Our friend here is right. We have already released the version 2.76.1 for Android devices, if you don't have this version, I recommend updating your Fitbit app.

I just received my Versa today. I don't see in the notifications the option to get texts. Do I need to download something else or another app for that? I haven't received any notifications on it at all, actually. Help please!

Make sure your Fitbit app on your device and your Versa are updated to the most recent update.  Mine resolved when I did the uodates.

I understand you resolved this issue for message+, what about whatsapp? Works fine on my husband’s charge 3, but not on my versa (which is more expensive). I cannot switch to another app just because of a dev bug. Will rather return the watch and get a refund. Please keep us posted on resolution.

Could someone please explain the lock screen like I’m a two year old. I have tried EVERYTHING from resetting my phone and Versa. Yes I check notifications with the left button. Nothing is working. Worked for a while when I first got the versa. I get call notifications, but, no text. It’s infuriating that this “smart watch” I paid $250 for doesn’t work like advertised.

Yes it is a piece of crap. Everytime they do a up grade something goes wrong.  Biggest mistake ever buying this watch.

I wish I had researched this more. I would have stuck with Charge 3. Soooo disappointed to read all of this. The alarm works but I really like getting text/call notifications so I can keep my phone turned down. 😞
