I have rebooted my versa. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app. I have restarted my phone... I have done everything that I have read in these forums to do (multiple times) and nothing is working. Can my fitbit versa be fixed or was this just a huge waste of money?

@Wo1032 Phone model and OS? Versa model and firmware version? Have you updated your versa recently? Is your Fitbit mobile app up to date? When did the problems start? For now, please try this:
The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.
Additional tips if sync issues persist: If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Also, make sure Always Connected and All day sync are enabled.

I had the same thing happen to my watch. I tried all the suggestions I saw online. I even emailed with support. They just suggested everything I had already tried. This is not my first time having issues with Fitbit.
They researched and confirmed I had a Fitibt and where I bought it.I Then, I was told it was more than a year old and that is the warranty time. So, if your watch is over a year old, you wasted your money. Fitbit would not stand behind their product.
They did offer a discount to purchase another watch, but you can't get the Versa because they don't sell them anymore. Also, you can't get a Versa 2 because it is not part of the deal yet.
I will be looking elsewhere for a smartwatch fitness tracker. Too many people I know have had the same or similar problems. Many of them were repeat customers and now own a different type.

I am having that same issue. My clock is out of wack. It will not connect to WIFI or Bluetooth and it can never be found on my iPhone. I have rebooted, reset to factory settings, just about everything and still not working!

I have the same issue. I can't even wear the versa as a watch. My clock just slowly falls behind the right time...10 mins, 30 mins....currently its behind 2 hrs and 15 mins. I'm so annoyed. I need a watch for work so just gonna go buy a cheap Walmart watch at this point.

@Yoselina Please remove Versa from your iPhone's bluetooth settings, do not pair again. Uninstall and reinstall fitbit app, reboot both devices, install fitbit app and sync. Let me know if that helps. Btw, which iOS are you running?
@pokey15 @Billiereds I am not sure how to help, I don't even know what OS and phone model you have.

@Marrrmaduke Samsung Galaxy s10+. Apparently it's not compatible after 4 months of it working just fine and never had an issue till now.

I did all of that. No luck. I actually spoke with Fitbit yesterday and they said there was nothing that could be done. It’s just done. I had the watch for 14 months, and it worked fine until recently when I started having problems. This was my 4th Fitbit but I will never use their products again. The previous 3 all broke (2 of them were replacements for the first that broke under warranty... that was a design flaw). After the 3rd one I decided to try a different model. And just 14 months after purchase, it is completely useless.

@Wo1032 @Billiereds Have you tried factory reset (restoring tracker to factory defaults = wiping it)? You will need to set it up again. This will wipe your Versa and since you cannot sync it, you will lose the data that hasnt been synced. You will also need to delete your tracker from your Paired Devices list in your phone's Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Reboot your phone as well. Once Versa resets to factory defaults, you will need to set it up again by adding it as a replacement device in the Fitbit mobile app. Good luck!

@Marrrmaduke so I did everything you said, factory reset, deleting off my phone etc. Well only this is coming up is the Fitbit logo with different languages scrolling. It will not turn on. I tried again this morning and now I'm getting a big pink or red X with a circle on the Fitbit then it goes back to the logo and languages scrolling. What else can I do? Is this the end of my Fitbit?

@Billiereds I hate when they do that! Does it say Data not cleared. Sync? It seems like the factory reset has not been completed successfully. Have you tried reboot by pressing left and bottom right button until fitbit logo flashes?
Alternatively, you can try pairing it/setting Versa up using different device - just to sync it. Do you have access to tablet, computer or friend's phone? It would be only temporary. If you cannot make it to pair (be seen), press all buttons together.

@Marrrmaduke I've tried all of the above. Nothing is working. I even tried to pair it with my daughter's phone and the bluetooth won't find it. The logo and language is the only thing still showing on the versa. My bluetooth will find it, but the screen remains the same. Then the bluetooth won't find it. Well I called customer service last night and the lady assured me that my phone is compatible with the versa. She tried troubleshooting ideas too but nothing worked. She also told me that my phone has been rebooting itself for the past week or so. So at this point, she is sending me a replacement, which I really hope this does not happen again.

@Billiereds Well, it was a hassle but at least the replacement is on its way! 🙂

Miy Fitbit Versa started losing time about a week ago and will not sync. I’ve tried the recommended fixes numerous times and the Fitbit May sync briefly but will start losing time again after about 30 minutes. I got this as a birthday present last July so I’ve had it less than a year. I guess its toast - I would not recommend the watch to anyone!

This is my 6th device. All have failed. All battery/charging issues. Now, suddenly it starts losing time. Started after the last software update. Luckily I can still do a manual sync and it comes back - for now. It's like watching a sick person slowly circling the drain.
I only have two words. Apple watch. Then Samsung is pretty, but their reliability is suspect, and their customer service is worse than the cable companies.
Apple watch.

I have also had the same problem with two Fitbit watches. Both times it happened after the warranty ended. Tried all the “fixes” several times with no results. These watches are too pricey for me to buy a new one every year, so I’m done.
