My Versa registered steps during a mountain bike ride

I went on a 2.5 hour mountain bike ride very early in the morning and when I was almost done it told me I had just over 10,000 steps.  When i stated the ride I made sure I selected bike ride.

Is this normal, does it pedal revolutions as steps???

Hi, @toytech6466! There is no way for Fitbit to measure revolutions when it's on your wrist, but if there's enough jostling and moving around from the bike ride, especially for mountain biking, it's likely that it will register those movements as steps.
