My Versa stopped receiving text notifications from my iPhone 7S

I used to get both text and call notifications on my Fitbit (I have an iPhone 7S) and I now no longer get the text notifications (since an update was put out a while ago). I just went through and turned notifications off then on, I tried restarting my Fitbit, deleting the Fitbit app from my phone, and repairing my device with my phone. I want to get text notifications but I'm not sure what else to try.

Hello there @ALT6, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for taking the time to troubleshoot the notification issues on your Versa and iPhone 7S, I'll be glad to help you.

While reading your post I was wondering if you're unable to receive your iOS notifications but do receive notifications from 3rd party apps? Have you checked that?

In the meantime, I'd appreciate if you can reply and confirm to me about the following:

  1. Current iOS OS?
  2. Is your Versa syncing?
  3. You've toggled the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage
  4. Verify the `Show Previews` to be on `Always`.
  5. You've followed the steps provided here: Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

Looking forward to your response, keep me posted.

Current iOS is 13.5.1. I have followed all of those steps as well. I get notifications from other app (i.e. snapchat, Facebook messenger) and even phone call notifications, but for some reason the text notifications do not come through.
