My new Versa turns the screen on by itself from time to time. I have switched off screen wake and quick view.
Is anyone else having these problems? Am I doing something wrong ?

@SVH14 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Could it be that the settings aren't being saved by the Versa or that you may be pressing the buttons? I suggest you restart your Versa by doing the following:
1.- Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.
After this enable the quick view and screen wake options, save the settings then turn them off and save again.
Let me know how it goes!

I just started having this issue, too. Not only is it annoying (especially when sleeping), but it's wearing the battery down. Anyone have any luck fixing this problem?

Mine has been doing this as well. Charged my watch over night and it is not even 12:00 and I have 38% battery life. I am going to try what the moderator suggested. Hope it works.

Hi, I was in convo for about a month with support and they offered to send me a new one. You can send them a mail or a message on twitter. Make sure to catch it on video, it'll save you time.
Mine also wouldn't turn black after it came 'alive' on it's own, had to push the back button multiple times.
Eventually I just send it back to the site I bought it from, was less of a fuss, with the correspondence from fitbit support.

I tried following the moderators instructions, and it still isn't working for me, so I may have to go through the same process you did. Thanks for the heads up!

Alvarito, I wish you were more precise in your explanation. When you say "enable the quick view" you mean on the fitbit app right? The slider that says quick view. And when you say "screen wake" you mean on the watch, when you press the back button and leave it pressed and it asks you if you want it to auto or manual correct?
Cause I did all that and the problem is still there... Keeps waking me up at night, I've been wrapping a black sock around my wrist lol.

This is the second Versa that does this to me.

@magnums_ferrari @Ryan79 I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the late reply.
@magnums_ferrari yes when I mention the Screen Wake option I do mean the settings on the Versa itself. You could try restarting it and if the issue persist go with a Factory reset but note that you will need to setup and update your Versa again with this option.
@Ryan79 have you tried any of the suggestions in this thread? Also consider the suggestions I shared with @magnums_ferrari.
Keep me posted!

I had a look through them. None of which were helpful.

Hello,
I have tried following your instructions numerous times and regardless of whether the "Screen Wake" is on or off. It keeps turning on when I move my wrist.

I would contact support like I did at the time or send it back. I had 2 versas sent to me and had do sent them back because of malfunctions. I have an Apple Watch now but I do have friends who have had their versa without a problem for years.
