I was in a fitting room the other day to try a sweater on and took my Fitbit off and and unfortunately left my Fitbit on the bench. I called the store 45 minutes later after I realized and nobody brought it to lost and found. Is there any tracking device or way I can get this thing back if the person that helped it to themselves tries to login and sync to the system?

So sorry that happened to you, @SunsetRunner! The Fitbit Help section lists a few things to try but they really do not apply to your situation where you know exactly where you left your Fitbit. Unless, of course, you want to walk around the area with your Fitbit app open. If it had just slipped into a stack of clothes or something, (or someone’s pocket), you may find that it will start syncing. That’s all I can suggest. If someone stole it, as you suspected, they likely gave it a factory reset, before adding it to their own account. They would not be able to sync to your account without WiFi access and access to your phone (or where ever you normally sync).
