My Versa will not charge, tried all options

I can't get my Versa to charge and I'm pretty sure it's just dead. The watch was sitting on my shelf inactive for a couple months and I just tried to restart it.

 

I let it charge for several hours and it seemed to be working okay. I wanted to change the date/time but it wouldn't sync to the app (Always Connected was on if that matters) so I did a factory reset. Also reinstalled the app just in case.

 

The watch died at this point and wouldn't come on. I pressed each button by itself for a few seconds, held Left+Bottom Right buttons for a couple seconds, and other combinations with no success. I put the watch back in the charger for a day and when I came back it showed the 0% battery screen.

 

I went to this article (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1190) and tried all the steps but nothing seems to be working. The watch is not wet and there are no “insufficient power source” messages. I used two other USB ports, a different adapter, and plugging it into my computer. I borrowed a Versa Lite charger from a family member but that did not work either. I'm led to believe it's just a dead battery.
