My Versa won't connect to my new iPhone 13

I got a new iPhone 13 today.  I have been getting things running on it.  But the fitbit app on the phone doesn't recognize my WiFi at home.  All the other apps i have tried so far can see the WiFi.  How do I coax it into playing nice with my WiFi?

Hi there, @BScholz. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your new phone.

As @Guy_ has mentioned, it seems that your tracker cannot connect properly to your new phone since you haven't yet forgotten the connection between your watch and the old phone's Bluetooth which would explain the connectivity issues you're running into. With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Versa from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.

Hope that helps.

@BScholz - you mean Bluetooth probably.

If so make sure you remove your watch from Bluetooth on the old phone, and/or turn it off.

The watch is probably paired with the old phone.
