my Versa will not hold a charge for longer than 5 to 6 hours. I have followed all helpful tips.... I need help! I am not happy I cannot even wear it a complete day. I have not even had it 2 days!

Hi,
I have had this issue for MONTHS and nothing works. Can someone help me?
I will send in my Fitbit for it to be analyzed. Anything I just want my watch to work again.

I was thinking the same thing. I am so fustrated with my versa right now for the last few weeks not holding a charge. They might lose me as a customer if nobody in customer service can help anyone with this new update fiasco 😞

I am having the same issue. My Versa suddenly stopped holding a charge. It only lasts about 4 hours max. I have restarted it and tried to sync but nothing helps. I am very frustrated. Guess I will go back to a Timex or try an Apple watch next time. I tried all of the helps at fitbit site to no avail...

I have contacted them via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and they all lead back to the only thing possible is 25% discount on a new watch. They said it’s because it’s an older device and it’s time for a new one. It’s 2 years old and working fine until the update made it crash.

I am experiencing the same issues with my Versa Lite. Charge depleted after a few hours going on for a few days now on my 14 mo old unit. Also heart rate doesn’t show up anymore. I have restarted and there is no difference.
it must be something widespread with so many issues

Hi there! I have reset, restarted (8 times), cleaned the contacts, charged for a full two hours form a computer (twice), and I am still experiencing a few serious issues with my smart watch. the red light in the back never shuts off, it doesn’t track my heart rate, I don’t get a slew score, and the battery drains in a matter of a few hours. It was charged to 100% at 4:15 PM EST and it’s now at 24% at 9:15 PST. It has no alarms or apps or ANYTHING. The kicker is all this started on July 7th, just 3 days after the one year warranty expired. Please help me find a way to salvage my watch!

Has nothing to do with the charger. The Versa charged but it only lasts about 5 hours when it used to stay charged for 5 days!

I just called them, too. The best they could do was give me 25% off of a new Fitbit. I have only had my Versa a little over a year. Why would I want to buy a new one? This is my 4th Fitbit, as I am very loyal to them but will choose a more reliable fitness tracker today because I realized that I have to buy a new one every couple of years because of an issue.

That is the exact response I just got, and that is not acceptable. A $200 watch should last longer than a year and a half or two years.

How old was your Fitbit? I've had mine for less than a year and a half and am having the same issue.

Mine was about a year and a half. But like I told the guy on Fitbit support, for the amount of money that I paid for it, I shouldn’t have to get a new one every year and a half.

I thought it was strange that my Versa went from a full charge lasting 3-4 DAYS, to all of a sudden not lasting more than 6-8 HOURS!

Mine did the exact same thing. Now it will not charge at all. I think it is something an update, by fitbit, caused. Not that they did it in purpose, but an epic fail update. I wish fitbit would help us with this.
