My Versa won’t pair with my new phone

I have tried everything I was able to find on this forum concerning my issue and am still unsuccessful pairing my Versa to my iPhone XR.  Would it help if I delete and reinstall my tracker?  I’m reluctant since I had issues with installing it on my old iPhone.....

help please!!!

@Bibi4JC it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'd like to follow up on the setup issues you've experienced with your Fitbit Versa.

 

I would like to know if you get any error message while trying to sync your watch with your phone. If so, please provide more details.

 

If the issue persists, please try setting up your Versa from scratch as described in this help article and see if the issue gets fixed.

I removed my Versa from my account, restarted it (it is fully charged), switched my Bluetooth off and on and the phone still does not find the tracker. I tried both Bluetooth and WiFi on as well as only Bluetooth. There is no error message on the Versa, it’s just nowhere to be found.
Could it be that the Versa is defective?
My very first one I had the same issue, it wouldn’t connect with any of my devices and I had it exchanged. Now I’m having these problems with the exchange also .....

What am I doing wrong?
