My Versa won’t sync to my IPhone

Hi Fitbit,

I recently bought a Versa and i can’t seem to connect it to my iPhone 5s and my Huawei Android phone, during the set up I used the android phone and there was an interruption and it just stopped setting up, so I used my sisters iPhone X to complete the set up And it worked and it syncs perfectly so i tried to sync it to my android and it still doesn’t work, it keeps saying looking and can’t  find tracker. So i restarted it over and over again, and also the Fitbit, I tried to restart the wifi and Bluetooth but still nothing. So i tried on my old iPhone 5s and the same thing happened. I also tried on other devises but still Says looking. It only seems to work on my sisters phone.

Hope you can help.

Thank you

Assuming it's not still synced to your sister's phone?

@Cell.R Let's try without factory reset first:

1. Please make sure your sister's phone's bluetooth is off or out of range of your Versa. Once you set up your tracker on your phone, you will have to forget Versa from your sister's phone's Bluetooth settings.

2. Check if you can see Versa under Paired Devices in your Android phone's Bluetooth settings. If yes, forget it.

3. Uninstall Fitbit mobile app and reboot your phone.

4. Install Fitbit mobile app.

5. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes.

6. Log in to your Fitbit mobile app and grant all permissions.

7. Force sync.

I did it and it seemed to have worked but the next day it just kept a saying “looking” again so I did it again, and it worked but it’s still temporary.

@Cell.R You can attempt simplifying this procedure to:

1. foorget Versa from phone's bluetooth settings

2. turn the bluetooth off on your phone

3. reboot versa

4. turn the bluetooth on

5. force sync within the app

Now, can you tell me which phone are you syncing with? Android or iPhone? I know you have two. If you're syncing with Android make sure Fitbit mobile app is not being optimized by OS itself. Go to your phone's battery settings, to optimization and make sure Fitbit app is not optimized.

Also, in the Fitbit mobile app, enable Always Connected and Keep Alive Widget.
