This morning I looked at the Fitbit app and synced my watch to my phone and suddenly the app closed and I had to log back in. All my data from previous days and weeks is gone.
I tried to turn off bluetooth, Force quit the app, shut off my phone, wait two minutes, and then turn Bluetooth back on and I logged into the app but data is gone.

When it seems all your user data is gone, usually the explanation is that your data is still there in the Fitbit database, but you have logged back in with a different email.fitbit id, probably one that you previously had a Fitbit account set up with, and you just logged in with the wrong id. Fitbit stores your data by your Fitbit id/email so if you log in with a different id/email, you will not see your data.

Thank you for the response. I have one email address, so I’m still not sure how this all happened. I still can’t retrieve the data.

Go to www.fitbit.com this is your web based dashboard. What do you see.

I went there and the data is gone there too.
I actually spoke with customer service on the phone and they got back to be in an email stating that the data cannot be retrieved in this instance.
