My daughters Versa will not switch on and won’t charge

Are you sure you have pressed it properly into the cradle? You might need to fiddle a bit.

The problem may be with the charging cradle...

I had the same problem with my Versa.  The charging problem was with the USB connector on the cradle.  Regardless of how many different charging blocks I tried, the only way I could get it to charge was to hold the cradle connector firmly in the charging block - as soon as I let go, charging stopped.  I exchanged the Versa for a new one and the new charging cradle works fine...

The Fitbit worked fine - it was the charging cradle that wouldn’t work.  I was able to exchange the entire package - Fitbit, extra band and charging cradle for for a new package, no questions asked by the retailer.  The new charging cradle works just fine...
