Have my Versa 2 since 2 years and half, always take good care of it. This week, my touch screen and my button stop working. Of course the guarantee is already finish. Fitbit offer me à 35% rebate on new one. Everywhere the Versa 2 is at 159 $. On their site it's also at 159$ (discount offer). The rebate to have a new one can be apply only a their regular price (199$). So they give a BIG 30$. Is it normal that this supposed great quality works only for 2 years?

Even you have a limited warranty, it's not normal that we have any issue to fix it. We have to spend a lot of money. As I wrote, after 2 years, Fitbit offered me 30$ discount to buy a new one. Everywhere we can buy a Versa 2 at 159$. Fitbit discount apply on manufactured price (199$). On Fitbit site, the price is 159$ (special offer), but everywhere it's the regular price (even at Costco). My Versa was always used in a proper way and my button and my touch screen stop working. Is there a place to repair it? Do you have parts to repair it? It's not normal to pay 100$ a year to use a Fitbit. It's not normal an obsolescence after 2 years. I would have been satisfied if the proposed discount by Fitbit would applied on the present price on the site.

I reach out to the Fitbit customer service and support team. It's normal for Fitbit to give their huge discount on suggested price ... even everywhere the price is under (even on Fitbit site!!). I don't understand why they don't give their discount on the price on the site. I know think that Fitbit offer products with program obsolescence.

Same thing happened to my Versa2! And a friend's. Its frozen on e screen, and it won't hold a charge, or goes dark, after a day or two, after a full charge. This is absolutely the last time I buy a Fitbit. The batteries never last ore than about 2 years. It's back to my beautiful old watches for me!

I would have take their discount, if I'll be able to apply it on the price shown on their site which is the same price every where (159$) but not on a suggested price (199$). But it's not normal after used it 2 years.

Unfortunately, that's always how they do it. The discount applies to original release price. Not current price or sale price anywhere. You can currently get a Versa 2 at Costco.com for $119.99 if you're a member. Fitbit won't beat that.

I don't know where you are located but Costco in my area is 159$ (regular price).

I got $119 both on a phone and Desktop Computer. Illinois. USA

That is why at that price. I'm in Quebec, Canada and the price is 159$... But we experience the same problem: cheap products and bad customer service.
