My experience with Fitbit Versa 3 and the Customer Service

Hi, I have done everything suggested to try and charge my 1.5 year old Versa 3. Nothing worked. I called support three times. Their solution was to send me a 35% off coupon off another $300 Fitbit. Why would I buy another one if it only lasts a year and a half???? So disappointed in this product and the way Fitbit does not last. The charging cable was always put away in a drawer after each charge and the watch was worn non stop for that time. But isn’t that what you are suppose to do?? I guess I am going to Apple Watch now.

Hi @Sunshine1956  - unles it got wet the most common cause is a faulty charge cable or insufficient cleaning. In case your watch is fine see instructions in this link How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

I am right there with you!  I bought my Versa 3 in July 2021, after my Fitbit Charge quit working (screen went so dark, couldn't see it), after a year.  They gave me 35% off a new one, but not the newest Charge, so I went with the Versa 3, as it had a bigger screen.  I really liked it much better.  Now, a year and 2 months later, dead Versa 3, won't charge.  Sorry, out of warranty, here's your 35% off a new one....seriously??    I did wear it swimming, but this is the reason I bought it, because you 'could' get it wet.  Not that I normally would, but 'just in case', as I had worn my Fitbit One swimming and killed it, years earlier.  Anyway, no love or support from 'support' even though they can look at my account and see this one year, and a month or so pattern, with their products.  Now I am in the market for a new Smart Watch, which might have a better track record, I'm seriously at a loss, as I've only used Fitbit to date.  I am very disappointed in this company and their products and support.

So glad to hear it’s just not me!! Thanks for replying. I’ve done all they suggested to fix it and nothing. Sad they build a product that lasts JUST until the warranty is over. I’m looking into a smart watch as well!

Wow, I have only had mine for approx 6 weeks and it doesn't track sleep or automatically recognise exercise anymore.  Wondering why i wasted my money.

Same here.  My sleep tracker has dropped off and I can’t get it back.  I have no idea why.  I’m extremely disappointed in this product.

Hi... agreed.This versa construction is bad automatically died after 1 and half year.My is died to...I have 50 % coupon...but I'd doesn't work.

This fit bit company is joke.I never buy this product anymore.Better choice Samsung.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Customer service is joke here.

I don't see anything wrong with being offered discount coupons. By the way, I recently read an article about how you can make discounts yourself without any special knowledge and skills. I think it's worth a try. I agree that it's a shame that the clock is not charging. But you can also check in the service center what is wrong.
