Received my Versa watch Feb 20, 2020, or 16 months ago. About 2 weeks ago I noticed the battery was requiring more frequent charging. Then yesterday it would lose its charge in 1/2 a day. I contacted Fitbit yesterday and because it is out of the one year warranty the only thing they will do is offer me a 35% discount on a new Fitbit watch. They also stated that wanted to keep me as a customer. So let’s think about this: I buy their product and it only lasts 16 months and they want keep me as a customer. So I would have to spend a few hundred dollars to keep my self happy and they have as an unhappy customer.

Hi there, @ShaneBan. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.
Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Your device is out of the warranty period, and therefore is not eligible for repair or replacement, but we want to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.
For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty.
Have a nice day.

You Do Not fix fitbits I asked about sending mine in to have it fixed and was told "this is not currently an option". This should have been an option from the beginning! Why do we purchase electronics and not have the option to pay to have then fixed if they stop working outside of the warranty period? 1 1/2 years for $200 is bologna!! And then the slap in the face you offer a 35% discount that can not be used with the current price of a fitbit but only the MSRP! BOLOGNA!!

Same here. We have bought 4 fitbits for the family - 3 Versa Lites and 1 Inspire HR roughly about 1 1/2yr ago. Out of those 4, 1 Versa Lite died (won't charge) last Dec and was replaced at no cost under warranty, 2nd Versa Lite just died (same problem) but is now out of warranty, and the Inspire HR battery can now barely last 24hr compared to 3+ days before. Just had an exchange with support via chat on the broken Versa Lite and Inspire HR and I suspect I'll get the standard, here's your 35% discount, go buy a replacement... I am very disappointed in fitbit quality. It's almost like their products have a self destruct set to go off shortly after their 1yr warranty expires! I've already purchased another brand fitness band as a replacement for the Inspire HR and to be honest will be looking to move my family away from fitbit products to another brand as well.

Totally hear you there. My Fitbit was just out of warranty and all they offered me was a 35% discount. Needless to say I will not be going with Fitbit again and advising anyone who asks me to go with a different company as well.
