Hi Everyone. This is just my warning to NOT get another fitbit. I say another, because if you are on this forum, you already one and are more than likely having issues. Here is my story- I had an ionic, i get the dreaded triangle within the first year. Fitbit replaced it. That replacement only lasted about 6 months, good thing I had the extended warrant through walmart, they replaced that one twice.. I told myself at that time I needed to go to another watch, but I am in love with the app and the groups I am part of with fitbit, so like a sucker, I gave them another chance but went to the Versa 2. This one has not even lasted three months, the screen will no longer swipe so fitbit sent a replacement. The replacement will not even get started. I spent the last two hours of my life trying to get it to work and guess what, the answer is to return it and get another replacement. A replacement that will more than likely not work at all or only work for another 6 months. We spend WAY too much money on these things for them to be a **ahem**! Which everyone I have had has been. * I will say though, the fitbit support is way good! thats probably because they have so many complaints. I personally think I have given way to much of my life talking to Fitbit support.. Just my fair warning. Dont be a sucker like me. Next fitness tracker, go with another brand. Myself will be going with Samsung!

There are millions of people with only 1 or 2 trackers, with minimal problems over a 6 year period.

I am not sure either. If I had to guess ( completely just a guess) it would be a fault with the ones that are said to work in water. I moved from the fitbit Charge that I had for years and that one is still kicking, as I gave it to my mother in law two years ago. I had zero issues with that one. I moved to the ionic, as I spend a lot of time in the pool and liked that I could get music while running and not have to carry my phone. That one was a complete disappointment and again, I LOVE all that Fitbit offers and I have great support groups on the app. I did not want to leave so I reluctantly spent another several hundred dollars to go to this one that too allowed me to get music and go in water and was getting very good reviews. It has only lasted a few months and the replacement (which is probably a rebuild) would never even get started. .. while your comment kinda seems like you want to blame this on me (I could be wrong and just misreading) I find it hard to blame myself for one that I just opened out of the mail and it never worked.

I had a charge 3. Screen corrupt after 11 months. Bought a versa. It lasted 10 months before it stopped syncing and after the suggested factory reset it now doesn’t work at all.
Husband buying me an Apple Watch.
