My experience with Original Versa and customer service

I have an original fitbit versa, out of warranty (almost 3yrs old), however the first time I went swimming with it in a pool, it died, wouldn’t turn back on, wouldn’t charge after I left it to dry for a few days and the sensor panel partially lifted on the back.

I contacted customer service via the live chat function and the representative was incredibly helpful, all I had to do was provide a photo of the damage to the original one, and I was offered either a 50% discount on a different model or a complimentary replacement.

I opted for the replacement.
As they no longer make the original version, they are providing me with the upgraded Versa 2 at no extra cost.

I can not fault the customer service team at all.
