My first versa 3 couldn't receive any text messages or phone calls and less than a year, somehow water got in and died.( It's water proof!! and I've never used it in the water!!) . It was still under warranty so I got a new versa3 less than a year ago. It worked perfectly and I loved it when it was working right.
A couple days ago, it went crazy like flashing, buzzing and got very hot and eventually died. I called fitbit for solution but since that was the replacement and it's not under warranty anymore so they can't do anything. All I got is 35% off for your next fitbit.
I don't think I'll spend anymore money for watches that break down within a year. Looking for Garmin or Apple watches now.

Hi there, @Jazzzzz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services. @Guy_ Thanks for the information shared.
Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Since your device was out of the warranty period, and therefore was not eligible for repair or replacement, we wanted to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.
For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty or please feel free to contact our team back so they can clarify any doubt.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

It is kind of sad that this is the 3rd Fitbit I've owned that has died right after the warranty... it seems that they only last 14 months and then you are 'offered' a discount. Too many of us had the same issue with the logo stuck on right around the same to be a coincidence. I've used Fitbit for a lot of years... I'm done.
