It just shut off randomly, and won’t do anything. Won’t charge, won’t restart - nothing. Black screen. It was 2 years old, so out of warranty. Even called tech support - but it won’t do anything. Looks like I’m going to get an Apple watch, since I’ve been so disappointed with Fitbit since they changed the app.

Hi there, @opllop. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is still unresponsive. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.
Please note that our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can. For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty
Even though I truly appreciate you took the time to come here and express your feelings towards your experience with your Versa 3 and also want to find a resolution to your issue, my best advice is to keep the conversation with our Support Team. Note for this kind of inquiries/cases/process, there's not so much we here in the forums can do for you as this is something that our team handles based on our policies.
Thanks in advance!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I am having the same issue with my Versa 3 since mid day on 8/18/24. The screen was flashing and watch was vibrating a bunch and now there is nothing. I have tried to restart multiple times and have tried charging it as well. Right before the watch quit responding I did see a 'BUG' screen. I didn't push anything just set the watch down and went back to it after a bit and the watch now appears to be inoperable.

My Versa 3 lasts less than a day on a charge now, previously it was more than a week, and it started also on August 8. Funnily enough August 8 was when they released their latest update. When I asked support about that they told me it's out of warranty and to go buy a new watch. This is probably the worst support I've ever had on a product.
