My fibit is stuck on restart screen

Hi, I've had my fibit for 2years and it's only recently been having problems. First it wouldn't connect to my phone or update. Then I tried restarting it and it go stuck on the fitbit logo. Please help

Try

  • Remove your Versa from your Fitbit account and from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.

Hi, I have tried this but my fitbit app will not pick up my Fitbit. My versa is still stuck on the restart screen and is not connected, I have tried restarting it but it stays on the screen.

Did you do?

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Click on  + Set up a Device

Follow the installation instructions

I have the same problem.  It started this week.I tried to do a factory reset pressing the 3 buttons but it didn't work.

After i contacted Fitbit support they tried several things and finally they said I need to proceed with the warranty claim. Problem is I bought  it in July 2019, and they offered a discount for next purchase  but I won't buy this anymore.I truly believe this problem was generated by a software update that didn't work
