My fitbit seems to be working with my 5ghz router. Is this possible. The 2.4 and 5ghz have different sign in on router so I know its 5ghz.

There are 2 different wifi's in play here:

A) Your phone's wifi for phone connecting to fitbit main database can be anything your phone can handle.

B) Versa 2's wifi for getting music (maybe apps, firmware) to Versa 2.

How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?  tells more about wifi and fitbit.  It says fitbit won't connect to 5GHz.

Note that in day-to-day syncing, the Versa 2 does not use wi-fi; Versa 2 connects to phone via bluetooth, phone connects to fitbit cloud via wi-fi.

The only time Fitbit wifi would come into effect is in downloading music and perhaps apps and firmware updates.  That would be what not 5ghz not working would refer to.  I think Versa 2 is perhaps the only, or one of the few, Fitbit model that includes wifi, and it is can do most things without it.

If you want to test if yours is using 5GHz, you could try just disabling Fitbit wifi, and see if it affects you - I expect you will not even notice until you try certain operations.

That's all I know, or maybe more that I actually know, about this.

Thanks for putting me straight. Its just that 2,4 is slow for the other apps i use on my phone.

If I could ask another question. Have had Samsung note 10 plus working fine for several months, all features and Amazon. All notifications etc.  Just did the December phone app upgrade as a beta and now cant log onto my Amazon account. have reinstalled it again but no change, that was all on regular 2,4 ghz. Any thoughts if you are not too busy. Thanks

You can't log into your Amazon account.  Do you mean  on your phone's Amazon account without relation to Fitbit?  That would have nothing to do with Fitbit's wifi.

Or do you mean using Alexa on Fitbit? or what exactly?

All the home alexa is fine. Cant log the phone into amazon through the fitbit phone app. So the versa2 cant do its amazon stuff.
