My fitbit versa didn't record my run only the steps

My fitbit versa didn't record my run but it recorded my steps. How do i correct this?

Hello @Hemish which mode did you use to record your run? 

Did you start the run tracking on the versa, with the connected GPS and had the phone with you .

Did you start the run on the Versa without the connected GPS? 

Did you start the run recording through the Fitbit app? 

Or did you just go for a run and let Fitbit decide what you where doing. 

If so, then how many minutes was the run and what is your minimum run setting time?

Hi I started the run on the Versa without the connected GPS. My time is set
at 15mins minimum and I ran for 30 minutes. I have done this many times and
have never had issues before.

I started the run on the Versa without the connected GPS and it is set at minimum of 15 mins. I ran for 30 minutes. I have done this many times before and this has never happened. This is the first time it hasn't picked up the run.

Your saying that after a sync. the run does not show in your exercise log? 

When you say it is set for 15 minutes I assume your refering to the auto detect run function .If you manually started the run tracking on the Versa, the auto detect was disabled and has no bearing slurring this run.

Same thing happened to me -- when I synced my watch with my phone it fixed everything.
